Meet the Artist
Mairi is a watercolour pet portrait and animal artist from Aberdeen in Scotland with a love for animals and all things bright and colourful. Through her artwork, Mairi hopes to bring joy and happy memories to her clients, be that through a hand painted watercolour portrait or with bold animal décor to brighten your home.
From a young age, Mairi has always been arty and creative, and this does not stop with her portraits. In 2017 Mairi graduated from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen with a First Class Honours Degree in BA Event Management and now works full time in Marketing.
Mairi Makes was born out of the whirlwind of a year that 2020 brought, although it was always something that she has wanted to do. Working for herself and making those creative decisions has been such a rewarding experience and we cannot wait to see what comes next for Mairi Makes!
When she isn't painting, Mairi will either be walking her corgi, Pumpkin, attending gigs or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
