*The maximum number of animals shown refers to standard larger pets such as cats, dogs, horses etc. However it may be possible to fit in more smaller animals such as hamsters and reptiles upon special request. Please get in touch at mairimakes@outlook.com to discuss.
Postage and packing is not included in the above prices, which is £5.00 to UK addresses and £15.00 for International Orders. All original artwork is sent tracked by Royal Mail. Please note that larger A3 paintings will be sent rolled in a postal tube for safety.

Sending Reference Photos
Following your purchase, please then email mairimakes@outlook.com or message me on social media (@MairiMakes) with details and as many high-quality reference photos as you can provide.
To start the portrait, I will provide you with a rough sketch outline of the piece via email or private message to confirm that you are happy before I continue with the painting. That way, I can make any necessary adjustments beforehand.
Please note that as an artist I retain all copyright to my artwork and so commissions may be used as prints at a later date, please inform me if this is an issue prior to your commission being created.

Hand painted original mixed media artwork created from bright watercolours, illustrative fine liner pen details and paint marker highlights. Created on 300gsm cold-pressed watercolour paper made from high-quality archival wood pulp. Each piece is carefully hand packaged along with a unique certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, Mairi Reid.
All paintings and drawings are supplied unframed, however, it is recommended that you do care for them by framing under glass and keeping out of direct sunlight. Read my top tips for framing pet portraits here:
